As a child, you may have attended Sunday school or catechism or RCIA or VBS to learn about the foundations of your family’s faith tradition. Then, when you discovered Unity, it’s likely you kept coming back because: (1) the people are friendly and accepting; (2) the language and beliefs are positive and affirming; (3) as are the speakers, ministers, and music. But what do you know about Unity’s founders and history? If someone asked you what Unity stands for, what would you say?
This four-week Unity Basics class is your opportunity to get the answers to those questions and to learn all about the creation of the Unity movement — the who, where, what, when, why, and how. Join our Spiritual Advisor, Rev. Sherry Schultz, and the rest of us for a four-week Sunday afternoon review of the origins of Unity. Live sessions Jan. 17, 24, 31, and February 7, 1:00 – 2:30 via Zoom. (Recordings for later playback will be made available to those who register as well.)
Responsible giving suggested registration fee is $60. If you have any questions or would like to request a partial scholarship, email Rev. Sherry or Linda Moehring. To register, email email@example.com with “Unity Basics” in the subject line.
