Debbie began attending Unity churches as a teenager and has continued to this day. At Portland (Oregon) Unity, she took a course of study with the minister and became a Lay Minister. Later, at Unity of Bremerton, she took the training to become a Prayer Chaplain and then another training to train others to be Unity Prayer Chaplains. In 1981, she was introduced to the study of A Course in Miracles. Inspired, she became a Facilitator of ACIM Study groups in Portland for 15 years. She continues to be inspired by ACIM to this day and you will hear references to the book in her talks.

Heartdream is Steve & Mirabai Bangs, husband-and-wife singer/songwriters from Walnut Creek in the San Francisco Bay Area, who perform celestial music, ranging in sound from meditative and soothing to uplifting and inspirational. Their music regularly captivates congregations at Unity churches, Centers for Spiritual Living, and other New Thought centers throughout the West Coast, Southwest, and Maui. They have also recently gone international being blessed to sing in Australia and New Zealand. Heartdream has released six albums, which will be available for purchase after the service and on their website, heartdream.com. Steve & Mirabai have been singing together from the first day they met. Their love for each other shines in their eyes as they sing their songs together celebrating spirit!
