Mother God

We often say “Father-Mother God,” but do we think carefully and distinctly about a maternal Sacred?  This week at Unity, considerations of God as Mother, reflections by speaker and songwriter Doug Benecke, musically supported, as always, by the divine feminine in his daily life, Sallie Spirit.

Doug is a lifelong musician and student of the human spirit. He holds a religion degree from Oberlin College and works daily as an addictions counselor. Doug and his wife, Sallie Spirit, share talks and music at churches all around the Sound.
