Christmas Presence

The Old Testament tells of the Jewish people fervently awaiting the prophesied Messiah. This Messiah would be a special person anointed by God, who would come to save and liberate them from foreign oppression. When Jesus appeared on the scene, many believed he was the promised Messiah. However, Jesus' ideas were quite different from what people expected. He believed that God's rule was not about political and military deliverance of Israel, but rather a spiritual deliverance in the lives of individuals. Jesus urged people to look inwardly for their well-being, rather than projecting it upon a person or circumstance.

The message of Jesus of Nazareth remains as powerful and compelling today as it was two millennia ago. To reap the fruits of the Spirit, we must plant our seeds of faith in the good soil of openness, acceptance, trust, and surrender. This path leads us toward the light that illuminates our path and deepens our understanding of truth.

Rev. Larry is an ordained Unity minister, blog writer, and spiritual coach, who has served as senior minister at four Unity communities in California. He currently serves as the Minister of Record at Unity in the Olympics in Port Angeles, WA.  Inspired by life lessons and timeless wisdom, Larry shares messages rooted in universal truths; blending compassion, honesty, and humor in which others can hear their own heart’s song.  He is committed to a path of authentic growth and to creating environments where people can heal, grow, as well as find joy and meaning. As a spiritual director and author, he teaches, learns, and shares with passion and clarity using timeless truth principles as expressed and revealed from the crucible of his own life experiences.  Larry currently resides in Poulsbo where he and his life partner, Denese, recently moved to be close to family, most particularly grandchildren.

Their love for each other shines in their eyes as they perform their songs in celebration of Spirit.
For many years now, they’ve been performing at Unity Churches and Centers for Spiritual Living throughout California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. They’ve also had the blessing of being the featured artists for Unity of Maui’s Easter celebration service, and, just last year, they went international, singing at Unity churches in Australia and New Zealand!
